Since the launch of Core i7 Intel’s 980X, the first 6-core processor for the general public, the indiscretions on the response of AMD is accelerating. After the announcement of the frequencies of the first three versions of its Phenom II X6, he suggests that a version would be even faster in the files of the firm with a frequency of 3.2 GHz.

The launch is planned for the third quarter of 2010. For now, no name is known but its characteristics are similar for the Phenom 1075T except of course a greater frequency. We should therefore have a 6-core chip, the presence of a turbo function, a 6 MB L3 cache and support for DDR3. However, the TDP would be revised upwards with unflattering figures of 140 Watts.

Hopefully with time, AMD confirms mad thing and especially as a TDP.
